DOERRIES MACHINE BASE
Design and construction of new machine bases for a large industrial client in the UK. Each pit measures in the region of 20m x 12m on plan. Sheet piling works were undertaken, pit excavated to a depth of 8m and machine base constructed including all steel fixing, formwork, and concrete pours.
CARNEGHI MACHINE PIT
S.P. Fields carried out this design and construction project on behalf of a client in the north of England.
The project was delivered on time , within budget and to the total satisfaction of the client.
PRIMARY HIGH VOLTAGE SUB STATION
Design and construction of a new primary high voltage electricity substation for an industrial client. Comprising of the construction of a new portal framed building to house switchgear, construction of transformer bases, fire walls and cable channels and associated external works.
WELFARE FACILITIES REFURBISHMENT
S.P. Fields (Contractors) Ltd worked closely with the client to deliver the refurbishment of the ground and first floor welfare facilities in a large industrial plant. The project included partial demolition and full strip out, the construction of new internal walls, new HVAC installation, plumbing and mechanical installation, wall, floor and ceiling finishes.
All works were carried out whilst production continued uninterrupted. The end result was a shower block and welfare suite providing a high level of comfort for the workforce.
MAPEKA DRIER PIT
A recently completed design and construction of a new machine pit for a ladle drier on behalf of an industrial client.
Sheet piling works were undertaken, the pit was excavated to depth of circa 6m and the machine base constructed including all steel fixing, formwork and concrete pours.
DUST CONTROL PROJECT
Design and construction of new reinforced concrete slabs, including the base for a chimney stack installation.
The project was commissioned by a dust control contractor installing dust extraction equipment in a large industrial plant.
